When life feels like an overwhelming stream of obstacles to face, you can feel confused, defeated, and alone. In times like these, therapy can be one way to find a way back to yourself, back to your identity as one deserving of love. You are meant to be known in everything you are. As a licensed psychologist, I can accompany your journey of self-discovery and improvement. The process I offer is a gentle guidance towards understanding aspects of your history and experience that have shaped you and your relational style providing opportunities towards vulnerability and truth. I am trained to listen to you, but also to help you listen you yourself so that you can begin paying attention to your whole system in a more nuanced way.

Why emotion focused, relational, and body centered approach

Our bodies carry wisdom from what was lived and can show us the way out of trauma if we are able to listen carefully. So learning your body’s language will become a priority in our time together. Being able to be comfortable in your body as you process emotions will be a central part of treatment. I integrate experience-near approaches to therapy so that you can feel the shifts inside of you as we work together towards the spaces where you belong authentically. My background and style borrows from relational psychodynamic theory, emotion focused technique as way towards healing. You will be invited to play and explore new options for yourself in your relationships with others.
